Canisius DISCiples - A Division Champions

Canisius A DISCiples swept the A Division in a solid 15 - 7 final.  Though the Red Sea played with great intensity and determination, the sea did part
and the DISCiples did cross!   Canisius DISCiples along with Pittsford-Sutherland Sugar Daddies and  Irondequoit Landsharks (and remotely possible Fairport/HFL Greenhouse Effect), will be going to compete at states June 11 - 12.  Keep your fingers crossed for a western NY champion at NY
States this year!!!

SPRYEH (East HS Devil Dogs - B Division Champions)

In the B division, in what turned out to be a grueling, 2 hour + game, East HS came from a deficit 14 - 9 to win it 15-14 in a shocking upset to
undefeated Harley Allendale Columbia. Though intense, great spirit prevailed as did East High Devil Dogs. (not too shabby for their debut into
GRADA!)

BEST COACHING SPIRIT: John Stevens
(though his team didn't win a game, John kept their spirits high and was a great positive influence on the league. I appreciated John's perpetual
smile and enthusiasm for coaching!)
