The GRADA Spring Draft League will run on Wednesdays at 6:00 from April 11 through May 30 at Crittenden Ballfields. The cost of the league will be $18.
The draft league takes individual players and creates hopefully balanced teams using a draft system. The level of play is meant to be fun and competitive, but aggressive, heated, attitude-filled play is not allowed. This will be enforced. This is the league for you if you want to come out early in the season, get in shape, play a little light disc, and get tuned up for the warmer weather. While it is mainly an adult league, we do allow players under 18 to enter on an exception basis, but you must contact the league director (see below) for an interview to see if you are appropriate for the league.
Registration is now Closed. If you signed up for this league and for some reason you don't hear from anyone, show up Wednesday and we'll get you to your team.
Contact the league director Josh Nellist (spring-draft "at" grada.org) with any questions, or if you are a player who is under 18 years old.
Most games will be at Crittenden fields (here's the field layout), with some games possibly at the Round House field in Genesee Valley Park. The field next to the Al Sigl Center on Elmwood is a backup field.
